Open file picker automatically

By default, UploadKit lets customers choose to upload files from multiple sources (their current device, their Dropbox account, Google Drive, etc). 

But you can also trigger the system file picker to open automatically when the 'Choose file' button is clicked on your product page. To do this, open your field settings and scroll down to 'Advanced settings':

With No selected, customers will be prompted to choose the source of their file.

With mobile only, things will work as with the default option on desktop browsers, but on mobile devices the system file picker (or gallery, in the case of image fields) will open automatically.

With Yes selected, the device's built-in file picker dialog will open automatically on both desktop and mobile devices.
